Auburn University Football Stadium Renovations, Auburn, Alabama

Jordan-Hare Stadium—Trahan Architects was commissioned by AU to take a holistic, master plan approach to the future development of the stadium that would provide 3,500 new premium club seats in either end zone. Trahan responded by providing both options as well as an additional option for the expansion to be located on the West Side, providing more sideline seats which would generate even more revenue for the athletics program. The master plan also included adding 12 new suits, 1,300 new upper deck seats and the total renovation of the existing 70 suites on the East Side.


Lehigh Valley IronPigs Coca-Cola Park, Allentown, Pennsylvania
Coca-Cola Park baseball stadium is the home field for the AAA Lehigh Valley IronPigs, an affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. The first event at the $50.25M park, which accommodates 10,000 fans, was held on March 7, 2007.

Dickey-Stephens Ball Park, Little Rock, Arkansas
Built for the opening of the 2007 season, Dickey-Stephens Park is home of the Minor League Baseball team Arkansas Travelers.

Michigan Baseball Foundation Great Lake Loons Dow Diamond Stadium, Midland, Michigan
New 18,000-seat stadium for the Class A Great Lake Loons, an affiliate team of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Sovereign Bank Arena, Trenton, New Jersey
The $53M Sovereign Bank Arena is a multi-purpose facility that has hosted over 1,200 events since opening day. The Arena seats approximately 8,100 for hockey and other ice events, 9,000 for basketball, and up to 10,000 for concerts, family shows, and other events and is home to the Trenton Devils of the East Coast Hockey League.

Mid-America Center, Council Bluffs, Iowa
This multi-purpose facility is the metro’s area link to live entertainment and sporting events. The 30,000 SF pillar-free space seats approximately 9,000 for concerts and 6,700 for hockey games. Mid-America is the home of the Omaha Lancers USHL Hockey team and the Iowa Blackhawks APFL Football team.

Oklahoma State University Gallagher-Iba Arena, Stillwater, Oklahoma
The historic Gallagher-Iba Arena remains home to more national championships than any other facility in America. A massive $55M renovation/expansion increased the seating from 6,381 to 13,611 and encapsulated the original arena with a new roof structure and concourse.

Oklahoma State University Boone Pickens Stadium, Stillwater, Oklahoma
The OSU Boone Pickens Stadium is the oldest football stadium in the Big 12 Conference. In 2003, OSU broke ground on a $260M upgrade to the stadium that included a brick exterior to match the modified Georgian architecture of the OSU campus, and a connection to the Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Toledo Mud Hens Fifth Third Field, Toledo, Ohio
Fifth Third Field is the home of the Class AAA Toledo Mud Hens and is a 10,000-seat minor league stadium. The sports complex includes 32 luxury suites and a unique elevated seating area, “Muddy’s Roost,†above the right field corner.

University of Georgia Sanford Football Stadium Additions, Athens, Georgia
Two back-to-back expansions totally $33M, completed in 2003 and 2004, added a second upper deck on the north side and 27 new north side Sky Suites thus bringing the stadium capacity to 92,746.

The University of Houston Campus Recreation and Wellness Center, Houston, Texas
New $42M/264,000 SF facility that includes a 70-meter Olympic competition pool, 10-meter diving facility, eight racquetball courts, eight gymnasiums and multi-purpose courts, a climbing wall, a wellness center, social and food serve facilities, an a 24,000 SF fitness and weight lifting zone.

University of Pittsburg John M. and Gertrude E. Peterson Events Center, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania
The Peterson Events Center provides an unprecedented diversity of recreational opportunities for University of Pittsburgh students from sports to concerts and commencement. to the home of Pitt Panthers Division I basketball, the Petersen Events Center has it all.


University of South Carolina Colonial Life Arena, Columbia, South Carolina
The 18,000-seat Colonial Life Arena is the largest arena in the state of South Carolina and the tenth largest on-campus basketball facility in the nation. The arena features 14 suites, four Entertainment Suite, the Frank McGuire Club hospitality room that will accommodate 300. The state-of-the-art facility includes a technologically advanced sound system and a four-sided video scoreboard.

The University of Texas at Austin Erwin Center Renovation, Austin, Texas
BAi was part of the project team involved in the $55M renovation of the Erwin Center. The project’s scope included life safety upgrades, new concession stands and restrooms, addition of 28 suites, new scoreboard and indoor electronic video signs, addition of an outdoor electronic video sign, and renovations to the Lone Star Room reception hall.

Whataburger Field, Corpus Christi, Texas
The design for this new facility utilized existing cotton warehouses into the left-field and right-field areas and paid homage to the history and architecture of the city. The facility is near the Solomon P. Ortiz Center at the Port of Corpus Christi and offer magnificent views of the Harbor Bridge, ship channel and Corpus Christi Bay. The stadium features 5,050 fixed seats, 19 luxury suites and two outfield berm areas to accommodate nearly 2,000 fans and is home to the Corpus Christi Hooks.
